You may notice the Great Blue Heron is on a pier. Also, there were many people fishing (camera left) on the same pier which is located on Dauphin Island, Alabama.
What attracted my attention was people catching fish were giving some of them to the Great Blue Heron.
Some may argue that feeding a wild bird is never a good idea, because then it becomes too dependent on people for food.
However, their actions allowed me to capture the images below:

Lovely photos. It is difficult to photograph the birds when they are doing their own catching. With a bit of human help you can catch them off guard!
