I actually took a ride in one of those a couple of years ago at a Wings & Wheels expo. It was awesome! Is that the Yankee Lady? Reply ↓
The cramped conditions of the inside the plane become overwhelming. Especially when you consider the 11 man crew had missions of 12 hours or more. Reply ↓
Wow! This aircraft is so cool. I have never seen one from the inside in person. For now, I got this awesome images to go by. Perhaps one day. Fun version of the theme. Have a great day! Reply ↓
Thank you. Touring the inside of one of these old planes is enlightening regarding what the 11 man crew had to deal with during their missions. Reply ↓
I would be thrilled to see them. Kids will find these particularly stimulating. These images are informative and cool. Thanks. Reply ↓
Thank you Janet. When my son was younger I took him to see a B17 and he enjoyed it so much, he talked about for weeks. Reply ↓
Great shots David. I have some just like it somewhere. Really amazing to think what the crew went through in such a tin can. Reply ↓
Thank you Jeff and you are right about the tin can. The men who flew in these aircraft were both brave and crazy. Reply ↓

Very cool! Excellent take of the Inside theme, David!
Thank you Stephen
This is awesome!Never been inside any of these planes
Once inside you get the overwhelming sense of how tight it was for the 11 man crew.
Can’t believe 11 could get in there.
Very nice choice for this week’s challenge!
Thank you

Forwarded to the “older” pilots in the family.
Good, they will appreciate and remember old times if they flew in B17s.
Cool shots. And my husband enjoyed it too.
Thank you. You and your husband should take a tour if one visits your area
