Hi David…
I want to tell you I’m nominating you for the Genuine Blogger Award. You have an awesome blog and I enjoy coming here to visit! Congrats! The award does not have any rules. There are no lists or questions to answer. You can post the image if you want. You can pass the award on if you want. Here’s the link for more info: http://jayjaysfavorites.wordpress.com/2012/02/25/the-academy-of-blog-awards/
Hi Judy,
I’m glad you enjoy my images and thank you for nominating my blog for this Award.
You certainly deserve it! You have amazing photos!
I just wish I had more time to visit more often. Congrats again!
David, I am really enjoying your photos around Mobile Bay and south Alabama. I grew up in Demopolis, about 3 hours north. My dad is from Mobile and grew up in Prichard when there were woods between Prichard and Mobile, so many of the things you take photos of are familiar to me. Let’s see, the azelias should be going strong right now, Bellingrath Gardens should be a feast of color.
Thank you, I am glad you like my photos. I returned to Mobile about 3 years ago, after sailing the world in the US Navy. My parents lived in Prichard, Chickasaw, and now the Tillmans Corner area. Unfortunately, the Azaleas were a bust this year at Bellingrath Gardens. When they started blooming, we experienced lots of hard rain over a long period. So maybe next years.
glad I came upon your blog…
Glad you like my photo blog and thanks for visiting
You have a nice blog, David. You have some nice pictures which depict the beauty of the Alabama which is where I’m from too. I also noticed that you have really traveled the world by the number of countries you’ve lived in and traveled to. Your list makes me feel like I’ve only just begun with training wheels…lol
I think you’ve been on almost every continent which is my goal, and I see that we have Egypt, Saudi and Korea in common. Thanks for sharing your talent with us
Thank you and you are welcome Taiwanda. I have traveled a bit in my life. I have visited over 60 countries, been in every ocean, and almost every sea.
One question David… why a semi-pro photographer? You have such a great eye for photography and you take stunning shots. So why not a professional photographer? That is one thing I still don’t understand where photography is concerned.
*hugs*
Thank you for the kind critique. I am attempting to sell some of my work, if I do then I will consider myself a professional photographer. Hope the day comes soon!
Aaaah, is that how it works then? Well, I am sure that day will come for sure. You take stunning photo’s.
Thank you for stopping by my blog. You have a wonderful blog and I look forward to seeing more.
Thank you and I hope I can still deliver
